 재난 영화로서는 드물게 괴물의 정체에 대해서 알려주지를 않네요...

 우주에서 왔다는 이야기도 있고, 미 국방성의 실험체라는 이야기도 있고... 여러가지 이야기가 있지만 영화내에서 알려주는 것은 없습니다...

 그냥 가정용 카메라로 가정한 영화용 카메라를 들고 86분동안 돌아다니면서 찍은 내용을 방영하는 다큐멘터리 형식의 영화입니다...

 태극기 휘날리며 처럼 혼자서 들고 뛰었기 때문에 화면의 흔들림이 많이 심합니다... 흔들림에 약한 사람은 멀미를 할 정도 입니다...

 영화의 내용을 대부분 이야기한 것 같은데... 미국 뉴욕 맨해튼에 괴물이 출현하고 그곳에서 도망치는 젊은이들에 대한 이야기입니다...

 다만 적이 많이 강해서 도저히 손쓸 수 없다는 점이 기존 괴물들과 다른점인것 같네요...

 인터넷을 뒤져보니 괴물의 외형에 대해서 스케치를 하신분이 계신것 같지만 저작권 문제로 인해서 생략하겠습니다... 많이 크고, 강합니다...

 

중간에 괴물을 피해서 도망가는 장면인데... 제일 오른쪽의 아가씨부터 소개하겠습니다...

위에 처자는 7살부터 아래 처자는 4살부터... 조기교육을 한 결과일지도 모르겠네요...

그래서 그런지 참 이쁘게 잘 컷네요... 중간에 망가질 수도 있는데...

머가 뭔지 구분이 안가는 화면이 중간중간 나오지만... 그래도 이야기의 진행에 꼭 필요한 부분들만 연결해 놓았기 때문에 짧고 강렬하게 머릿속에 박히는 영화입니다...

 메가박스에서 M관 상영을 하다가 9관으로 밀리지만... 그래도 괴물 이야기를 화려한 전투씬 업시 이끌어 낸것이 대단하다고 생각합니다...


 마지막으로 어느 분이신가 블로그에 올리신 내용인데... 자유의 여신상 오른쪽 위의 구름이 괴물과 약간 비슷하네요...
